# Fayaz Notes > The Personal Blog of Avid Fayaz Avid Fayaz is the CEO of Infinite Ascent, a corporation dedicated to building self-improving autonomous systems. Prior to Infinite Ascent, Avid worked as a research assistant in agentic coding and agentic applications of AI in education while studying computer science with a specialization in parallel computing. He was also the head of research at KTH AI Society, where he led teams working on the applications of AI in medical imaging.
